i started acting in plays and short films after college because, hey, sometimes you find yourself sitting in your 2001 Nissan Xterra outside your girlfriend's house in Auburn, Alabama, stoned as hell, and wondering how the hell you got there, and what you're going to do with your life. and you decide to become an actor. but then you follow a bunch of side-quests along the way, and eventually, you become a copywriter to pay the bills. look, you don't wanna take life advice from me. that's what guys like tony robbins are for. but i will tell you this: i've lived life. and you haven't lived it if you haven't jumped out of a Jeep to avoid a collision with an oncoming Mack Truck on an island construction site, rowed a little boat across a moonlit lake at the bottom of an abandoned quarry to climb a waterfall, or stumbled home in the dark once or twice.
